Picture Perfect is a new documentary series presented few days ago on VBS.tv.

During each episode a different photographer talks about his work, life, inspirations and open one of those “orange-kodak” cardboard boxes full of wonders that make all of us super-envious, in the second part of the video the staff of VBS followed him during a photoshooting.

The outline of each episode is apparently quite simple, but the selection of photographers is really exceptional.

The first episode talks about Stefan Ruiz, former art director of Colors magazine, that will be followed from New York to Monterrey, Mexico to document the Mexican cholombianos.

Next episodes: James Mollison (the one of “where the children sleep), Rob Honstra (one of “The Sochi project) and Donald Weber!

If you want to take perfect pictures in 4×5, in 120 or 35 mm or whatever you shouldn’t miss that video.

But even though you aren’t a photographer wannabe, you have finished your 72 minutes of megavideo streaming and you are plenty of time to waste, this episode is definetly worth. It takes about 20 minutes, but it’s somewhat like a dozen photography classes.

that’s Stereo Portrait Project.
